Ali Meyer, M.S.
Ali Meyer is an accomplished organizational consultant with a broad set of skills in leadership and organizational development. With experience both as an organizational consultant and as a researcher, she has a both an academic and applied background. She partners with her clients to develop strategy, enhance communication, build teams, develop leaders, and achieve high performance.
Ali has experience designing and delivering a wide range of organizational development services including: instructional curriculum development; training and facilitation; survey design; organizational assessments; team building; and strategic planning. She has also developed behavior based interview guides to assess competencies and make selection decisions. Ali has worked with clients across a diverse array of industries, including: life sciences, healthcare, technology, financial/investment, and government, and non-profit.
Ali grew up in both Peru and the United States and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her bi-cultural up-bringing underscores her diverse perspective and understanding of individuals and organizations. Her ability to understand different cultures helps her consulting practice and ultimately benefits her clients through her innovative solutions.
Prior to joining Apex Performance Strategies, Ali was involved in conducting research to develop workshops and treatment manuals for topics including: emotional intelligence, violence prevention, professionalism in the workplace, and workplace resilience. In addition, she worked with clients conducting organizational diagnoses and gap analyses. Her research background is in the areas of: women in leadership, workplace stress, social support, and self-efficacy. Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley, graduating with highest honors. She currently has a Master's of Science in Psychology, and has completed all of the coursework for a dual Ph.D. with emphases in Clinical and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She currently serves on professional boards in HR and OD.
